My name is MK, and I am a mixed media artist studying in DAAP at the University of Cincinnati. My main focuses are painting and printmaking.

I’ve always had a passion for art, especially after someone called my drawings trash as a kid. I’m stubborn to a fault so I only became more determined to improve my art as I continue to practice. I like to consider myself a sponge, always wanting to get my hands on some new material or technique pushing myself to create in ways I haven’t previously.

My overarching goal is to make art that can be enjoyed and accessible to all, creating an experience that communicates the stories I wish to tell.
